Here is my "What we share video advertisement"  The instruction was to make a Google Slides pick a path, a Google Drawings poster or a Screencastify video advertisement. I made the Screencastify video advertisement. It was fun and I first made a Google Slide and then made a video advertisement for it.

A dream girl's bathroom

This is what Bradley Chalkers thinks the girls' bathroom looks like!
This is what the paragraph says:

"He imagined they were carpeted in gold, with pink wallpaper and velvet toilet seats. He thought girl toilets would look nothing like boy toilets. They'd probably be more like fountains, with colored water."

Have I done every thing it describes??
I used Google Drawings to do this, using shapes for every thing.

Abstract Art

This is my Abstract Art!
First, we followed instructions to make the face and eyes and nose.
Then, we added designs and patterns- one of the most important steps.
After that, we colored in using bright colored pastels. There were lots of techniques. My favourite was going over one color with a different one and then scratching of with the end of a paintbrush.
Finally, we outlined the important things with black pastel.

It was fun to make!!

Level 2 lock down

Hi guys!
It is level two lock down TOMORROW!! 
I am very excited. There are going to be so many more possibilities. 
Here is a list of what I am looking forward to:

• School, I can't wait to see my friends and teacher again.
• Parks, it has been SUPER tempting to climb on things (mainly parks) during lock down.
• Restaurants and cafes, it will be so nice to actually walk around in shops instead of a table at the door.
• MALLS!, whoa malls are open again. "Squeal!"
• Play dates, it will be GREAT to catch up with friends after school.
• Sleepovers, I can't wait for my sleepover at my grandma's house on Thursday night.
• PEOPLE!!, Yay! I will see PEOPLE! (lots)

My Amazing Adventures in Brazil #5

Inside the house Grandma fussed over the children, got them all to sit on the couch and gave them gifts one by one. Adriana was first. She received a beautiful, dyed peacock egg that grandma found in a junk shop and she squeaked "o.m.g!". Ana got a bright watercolor painting of three wild lion cubs happily playing in the tall grass. Noah got a small pillow with stitches forming a dog and he got some exotic sweets. Last of all Coco got a blue floaty dress that she would wear on her wedding day because Grandma had had it on her own.

The next business was wedding outfits. Adriana and Ana got to be flower girls and they were going to wear short blue dresses and small forget-me-not and periwinkle flower crowns in their hair. The flowers were a bright, friendly blue, the kind that reminds you of the sea. Noah on the other hand when he was asked to be in the procession shook his head, shrieked "Eeeeew no!" and stuffed his head in pillows till Coco said he didn't have to be.

After measuring, poking in places and sewing grandma left the room looking satisfied, like she had just finished a very good day at work. Coco smiled a small relieved smile and mouthed "thank you" to grandma as she left the room.

A few minutes later she came back out with a mop, a sponge, a broom and a guilty smile on her face. "Cleaning time!" she tried to say with a smile on her face. The children rolled their eyes, buried their face in their hands and started. 

Late that evening when the kids were slumped on the couch watching t.v, grandma was whizzing up a passion fruit sorbet in the kitchen and every surface of the house was clean there was a ring on the phone. It was the restaurant. They had called to say that grandma would come and do her order of snacks and meals tomorrow so that they could get it to her before Sunday (the day of the wedding) which was three days away on time.

Lock down exploration trip

Hi!!
Today I went exploring rock pools and asked some questions about what we saw. When I got home I searched them up and made a drawing with my information. I learnt ALOT and I hope you do too.
Maybe you could ask your parent to take you somewhere like this and then make a poster or something. It's learning and it's fun!

My Amazing Life In Brazil 4

Here it is:

"WE ARE THEEEERE!!" Noah cried and his scream echoed through the plane. "Shhhhhh!" whispered an old lady who was sitting across the aisle from Noah. "I'm just in the dramatic scene of this movie!" she murmured angrily. "Well, she can't say much." Noah muttered to Coco as she scolded him. "She was shouting things like 'Kill him!' and 'No! please don't die!' throughout the WHOLE plane ride." he said, imitating her. And it was true. The woman had been so caught up in her movies that she hadn't even noticed the plane landing.

Fresh air swallowed them as they stepped out of the plane. After hours of sitting on a bench peacefully reading and waiting for the plane, a lady looked up and smiled as she saw Adriana, Ana, Noah and Coco step out of the machine. "Grandma!!" Noah spotted her first. Grandma was a small, rosy woman who always had a book and the shopping list with her. She had a bob of brown thick hair and she had deep wood-brown eyes that looked the color of an enchanted forest.

"Guys!" she calmly shouted (If you can even do that). "Oh, we have so much to tell you!" the kids said and all attempted to say things but to grandma it sounded like a jumble of words. "Zoo! icecream and lollies! Mango! Gorilla! Swarm of bees! Kindergarten! Hockey!" "Calm down. Please?" she took a deep breath and said "I will hear it all soon but get in the car now and when we get to the house I will give all of you presents and get you to try your outfits on. Coco, Congrats!"

The car pulled up onto the gravely driveway and they all exclaimed "YAY!" and "We're there!!" when they saw their grandma's batch. It was big, sunny and friendly. The forest next to it was lush and green and at night it was magical. The kids and Grandma would go for walks through it at night. Vines draped down on the house and parted for the door. The passion fruits that grew on them were delicious especially in a smoothie or ice cream. It was nice to be back there.

CUPCAKES!!

HI!!

I made some cupcakes.  

I used a book called BAKE by Alison Gofton. It has GREAT recipes in it! My little sister iced and sprinkled 6 and I did 6 as well.

These is the steps I made them in:

1. First I made the mixture.
2. Then while it was cooking I made the icing.
3. Once they had cooled down I piped icing out of the piping bag.
4. Then I did the sprinkles!
