Proofread work

 Hi Bloggers,

At the moment we have been learning proofreading. So I have re-posted my Sina & the Eel slides because we have proofread them. We were looking for things like punctuation, spelling and using is instead of was or vice versa. We checked it ourselves, a friend checked it, the teacher checked it and then we checked it again. So... Enjoy viewing the updated story of Sina and... the eel. Dun, dun, dun!

This is my first activity for S.L.J, Summer learning journey.

If you've been following my blog you will have seen me post S.L.J posts from last year. This post was a challenge that we had to do where we had to colour in a famous painting and then change one of the original colours. I used an app called Art Colouring book, which was great fun and I recommend it.

'Siiiiiiiiiina!'

Hi Bloggers,

This post is about Sina and the Eel, which is a myth story from Samoa. I found it fun😄 because We got to do lots of descriptive writing 🖊️which I am pretty good at. What I found difficult was drawing🖍️ the picture on google docs, so sorry if it is bad. I enjoyed drawing Sina because I like drawing girls🙋🏾‍♀️.

                         

Duffy and the... Coggen?

 Today we saw a fantastic show. I think it was more aimed at little kids 👭 though it was still funny.😂

It was about Duffy meeting a Coggen (🐱-🐶-🐓) that belonged to his friend Bex. My favourite character was a guy who played the Coggen and Bex's dad. This is because when we came in he played cool songs on the guitar🎸 but also because he was a good actor/puppeteer. It was fun when they sung🎶 the Duffy song because they did it in sign language too.✋

This was only my second time going and it was amazing! We got to go because some people took on leadership roles (like me). I did wet day monitors🌧️, road patrols🚙 and librarians📗 at some point this year.

It was really awesome because we got to do whatever we liked. We were sooo exhausted when we got back to school, but if you're a year five who'll be going next year, it's the BEST😄 thing ever.
