Matariki DLO
This is my Matariki slideshow!
Inside is what Matariki is, loads more information and three activities.
We have been learning this because it is Matariki.
A tip from me would be to include a lot of pictures and videos to make it more interesting.
The whole class now knows a lot about Matariki and I'm sure after reading this, you will too.

About to hatch writing
A colossal boulder lay slightly cracked open on the golden mass of sand.
The damp grey heap of rock was perfectly circular and it shocked me that it was so neatly round.
But what amazed me the most was its size it was as big as my head and it had a
perfect crack in it that looked like jagged crocodile teeth and made it look way less appealing.
Here's where I got curious, in the jagged line there was a perfect hole it was small but big
enough for me to put my finger in. I reached out and not knowing what was doing and slipped
my necklace in. Oh it fitted perfectly and all of a sudden the rock burst open revealing a single book.
I traced my finger over the beautiful patterns on the cover of the book there were spirals and stars
and the book opened there was a golden space that spread over two pages
I flipped the page and started reading. It was an amazing book!
I read a story about a forest and I was there in the forest!
I stopped reading and I was back on the beach! I raced home and shared the book with my family.
I could tell we were going to have some very good adventures with that book...
This is my writing!
Bling our bins!
This green week our topic was bling our bins!
I made some posters to (maybe) go on our bins and the best will go on them.
I love green week and a tip from me would be to put the color of the bin on the slide.
Have a good green week!
Bye!
